Samvardhana Motherson Reflectec (SMR) has started 2 investment projects in the Technological Industrial Development Zone Skopje 1. The investment includes construction of 2 production facilities on 2.7 hectares construction land, which will create new job positions for 140 Macedonian citizens. One of the facilities is planned for production of die-casting parts, and the other for exterior glass used in rearview mirrors for the automotive industry. The total investment will amount up to EUR 12 million. The whole production is intended primarily for the German car makers serviced from the assembling plant in Hungary.
